Just something to think on: "Fear not, for I have redeemed you. I have called you by name: You are mine...you are precious and honored in my sight...because I love you." -Isaiah 43:1b;4
I continue to pray for you & your beautiful, little family is this time of uncertainty. But He has a bigger plan than all of us. Sometimes all we can do is let it go...which is hard, but totally worth it in the end. :)
Wow.... I relate to this post SO MUCH. Even the part about the annoying dogs LOL. Some days (AND NIGHTS) are SO MUCH HARDER than I thought they would be. And the money thing regarding being on one income for the first time... yes... feeling the pinch... especially around the holidays!! Seriously... thank you so much for writing this. It's good to know I'm not alone in what I'm feeling. And those verses are sooooo helpful. I need to post them all over my house!!!
Allysa, we really should sit down and talk sometime. What you just typed is my past three years all in a few paragraphs. Except I was never aware that God had called me to be at home for that time with my family, until he LITERALLY uprooted me from my (well rooted, I may add) career that I had worked SO hard for. I NEVER had a clue I would ever stay at home with my kids. I could type all night, but the uncanny resemblences of our lives has just hit me. Only now, I can sit here, read your words and smile and nod. Not so long ago, I was right there. Except God did not stop at uprooting me from just my occupation. (This is where the sitting and talking comes into play) But, through everything that has taken place in these last three years, I can honestly say now... Thank you GOD. I doubted, I complained, I cried (endlessly some days)...every emotion you could name, I experienced. Even still, Satan throws what we no longer HAVE in both mine and Bryan's faces sometimes. But, we can be nothing but grateful to God to be where we are today. ((hugs))~Misty
thanks, Ladies! You have no idea how encouraging it is to know I'm not alone in my thoughts. Blessings to each of you for what you do for your families. xoxo
